Sorrel is an iOS app that helps you plan meals for your household. You tell it about your family, your dietary preferences, and what you’re in the mood for, and it generates and organizes recipes for you. It’s built by an independent developer and is currently in early testing.
For bug reports, feature requests, account questions, or anything else:
We try to respond within a couple of days. When reporting a bug, it helps a lot if you include your iOS version, the app version (Settings → About in the app, when it lands), and a short description of what you were doing.
Open the app, go to Account Settings, scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete account. You’ll be asked to confirm, and then your account and the recipes, plans, and grocery lists tied to it are removed. This can’t be undone. If you’re locked out of the app and can’t get to the screen, email support@trysorrel.com from the address tied to your account and we’ll do it manually.
If a recipe looks wrong — missing ingredients, bad measurements, weird instructions — email us with the recipe title and what was off. Recipe generation is AI-driven and not perfect; your reports are how we improve the prompts and the ingredient catalog.
Make sure your household profile and dietary preferences are up to date in Settings. The more accurate that information is, the better the recommendations get. If results still feel off, send us an example and we’ll take a look.
Recipe-related text (what you ask for, your dietary preferences, recipes we’re parsing) is sent to OpenAI and Anthropic to generate or structure recipe content. Your name, email, and Apple user ID are not sent to them. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
